La Malahora

In line with our folktale introduction, I have a scary story for all of you.  After you have read the story, answer the questions that follow on your own paper.  



Questions:

1. The first two paragraphs of the story are mainly about...
2. How does the narrator's viewpoint change by the end of the selection?
3. What can the reader conclude about the death of Jane's husband?
4. What is the conflict in the story? Is it internal or external?
